Lincoln Strategy Group congratulates our client, Missourians for Fair Taxation, who qualified today for the Missouri Ballot. Lincoln Strategy Group spearheaded the signature gathering and validation efforts that qualified this measure for the ballot.
Since Missouri law requires an initiative to obtain signatures of 8% of registered voters in six out of eight Congressional districts, Lincoln not only collected the necessary number of signatures, but validated each and every one of them a month before the deadline. By maintaining a validation rate of 74%, Lincoln surpassed the minimum number of signatures required of 168,072 by over 52%.
Meghan Cox, who oversaw the initiative stated, “It was an amazing team effort. Missourians felt pretty strong about prohibiting any taxes on services. By utilizing technology, we were able to track signatures and validation in real time. It gave us 100% confidence in where we stood on a daily basis.”
Lincoln contracted and employed over 461 petition collectors and employed a back office team of over 54 verifiers to validate voter signatures. By going digital, both the Lincoln team and Missourians for Fair Taxation were able to see results daily and monitor petition collectors, county and congressional district performance.
